President's Message

 DABellow-Headshot-600x700Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the website of the Sacramento Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. Celebrating our 77th anniversary in 2015, we are the oldest and largest African American family organization in the United States. The Sacramento Chapter was founded in 1956 and has welcomed over 325 families in our membership.

Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, financial literacy, philanthropic giving and civic duty. The activities and programs we provide are centered around our National Theme -- "The Power to Make a Difference."

As a Chapter, we are committed to all children and encourage them to embrace leadership skills that will take them from the classroom to the boardroom. Our success is based on the vision and depth of commitment of our members. With the contribution of time and unique talents of each of our mothers, we continue to fulfill our vision of preparing our children to be tomorrow's leaders.

I am honored to have been selected to serve as the 31st President of the Sacramento Chapter which has been serving its children and our community for 59 years. I hope that you will be motivated by our commitment to inspire excellence in our children and the Sacramento community to explore our website and support our community programs.  I encourage you to talk with our members to learn more about our organization and how you may partner with us in our mission that we so proudly serve.

Yours in Jack and Jill,
Dominique A. Bellow
